Right, because everyone is supposed to be very good at pvp to 'earn' these weapons?

I am not good at pvp. I've played 3 games and lost all 18 points I had towards my 500 for Thorn.

I do not like that portion of the game. Why should I be forced to play it, and then penalized for being terrible? I would happily play without penalty for dying incessantly.

This is how I feel every time I log in. I keep going back tho. Those vanguard marks aren't going to earn themselves.

In all seriousness, I feel the Shingen-E is the best blue wep. for PVP, and save up crucible marks for 77 Wizard fusion rifle. You can match up with anyone in PVP with those two. I also like Vex Mythoclast as my primary.

I have Aetheons Epilogue or some such thing; Void auto rifle and a void shotgun (green, but it shouldn't matter) and they do nothing.

I can shoot a full clip and barely make a dent and yet I take one shot and I'm dead.

It's fucking infuriating.

Yeah. Aetheons Epilogue is invaluable for when the strikes have void burn, but for PVP I feel it is better to have an auto rifle with higher impact (which determines damage) and stability rather than fire rate. For secondary, I lean towards fusion rifles, but the key stat with shotguns is range and impact, then stability/fire-rate, that way you can get a good shot in before they melee.

Then try and do more raids and you arnt being forced to do anything you choose to go for it.It's the so you will earn it. and get better. It's a game mechanic that's been out sense day 1. Should of looked into what bounty gave what and waited for either Xur or tried to get it in raid.

It's called a head shot. It's been in games sense DOOM. Also they might be using weapons that just annihilate your armor. Also you should look into setting up your skill trees for more tank.

I picked up that bounty by accident.

Crucible matches take a while to get the hang of. Do control matches and follow someone else around, you'll get assist kills and he'll take the bullets for you :)

I did look into what was needed and did not think it would be that hard.

I would begrudgingly go play pvp without much complaint if I wasn't being penalized for being terrible at it. Not everyone is good at that style of game, nor should everyone have to be.

If these were truly 'exotic' then why give them to anyone from raids as well? They should only ever come from these bounties so that only the truly worthy can have them.

It's fucking bullshit. I'm pissed about it. Don't fucking patronize me either.

It's given in raids very rarely. It's also only in the hard raids that you get exotics.

But the rest of the game, for the most part is actually fun.

I just suck at pvp, which I'm okay with, its that they penalize me for not being good enough to be 'worthy' of their stupid Exotic weapon that angers me so much.

also got one from nightfall.

I'll calm down and try again later. If it still makes me so angry I will just forget it. I don't even like hand cannons all that much.

It's the lag that gave me problems for that portion of Thorne. Now I'm stuck at making it through the Epic lvl 26 strike. Those freakin shielded wizards suck.

What list are you doing for pvp? I used the team and just stuck next to the group to keep firing and stay alive. I still would have bad lag and end up only gaining a point or two sometimes, but I made it through fairly quick that way.

I tried rumble, bad idea. The 6v6 one is okay. I have done best with control. Camp at the 'flags' and just try to stay alive.

I will try the 6v6 again and become someone's shadow to see if it helps.

What system are you on? I'd gladly help with those Wizards if you're on the 360.
